In 2001, Eleanor was appointed leader of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, after having been a member for five years, and during her undergraduate years at the RCM led many of the orchestras and ensembles. She is now a very busy freelance violinist in London, playing with many of the major symphony and chamber orchestras including the LSO, LCO, European Camerata, Philharmonia and CBSO, both in the UK and abroad. She is also an active chamber musician, performing in recitals around the country with 'The Solstice Quartet', participating in festivals such as Dartington and Aberystwyth.

Scottish pianist Alasdair Beatson is much in demand as a recitalist, orchestral soloist and chamber musician. Past performances throughout Europe, Asia and North America have included appearances at Ravinia, Paxos, Bath and Dartington music festivals, piano trio tours in South Korea, and concerts in such venues as the Kennedy Centre (Washington D.C.), Martinue Hall (Prague), Shanghai's Grand Theatre and the Wigmore Hall.
